Make it Cheaper and Eco-Nomics announce Energy Partnership

14 Jan 2015

Make it Cheaper (MIC) one of the UK’s most successful SME energy brokers and Eco-Nomics, a leading UK energy efficiency consultancy, have today announced the formation of a strategic partnership to offer a complete energy service to Britain’s businesses.

While wholesale energy prices have recently fallen, business energy costs have continued to rise - and these increases have led more businesses to look at both better energy procurement and improved energy efficiency. It is the need for a service which enables firms to excel in these areas that has inspired the formation of the partnership.

The service will initially focus on larger, ‘major business’ clients, including those who need to meet mandatory requirements under the new Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS)

John Tarbet, Managing Director of Eco-Nomics said;

“There was a natural synergy in this partnership as both our companies are essentially about saving business customers money – Make It Cheaper through better procurement, Eco-Nomics through helping to identify and implement energy saving  technologies and measures.”

Jonathan Elliot, Chief Executive Officer at Make it Cheaper added;

“Our team has been hugely successful in frequently adapting to offer our customers complementary services to ensure they get great value from their relationship with us.

We have spent time looking for the right energy efficiency partner and are confident that Eco-Nomics not only match our ethos of always providing excellent customer service, but also offers both a deep technical knowledge and a proven track record of delivering results for SMEs and larger business accounts.”
